Project: Assistance for the elderly

Are you from Wiesbaden or the surrounding area and interested in working with elderly people? Are you able to adapt to people in need of care, their everyday lives, and their life stories? Then you've come to the right place! 

In our project, you can help others and discover whole new sides to yourself. And we will accompany and support you: from the initial interview to your new training program.

Your path to training

Do you want to finally do something practical and meaningful? Do you enjoy helping other people? Are you fascinated by older people and their life stories? Do you want to find out what you are capable of? Show us what you can do and discover your skills! At

  • You are between 15 and 26 years old
  • You have completed full-time compulsory education
  • You are interested in working with elderly people
  • You are interested in doing a voluntary social year in a facility for senior citizens
  • Intensive educational support and guidance from the start of the application process
  • An open ear and advice for all your questions: from applying to us to training
  • 25 seminar days together with volunteers from other areas
  • Exciting, individually designed seminars with project participants
  • New experiences that show you what you are capable of
  • Pocket money, meal expenses, accident, liability, and social insurance
  • Child benefit (also during the FSJ)
  • 27 days of vacation
