Elementary School Teacher Giving Male Pupil One To One Support In Classroom
Children and young people

Do you enjoy working with children and young people? Are you creative and enjoy explaining things to children? Are you willing to support children or young people when they have problems? In this area of work, you can expect a wide range of tasks and plenty of variety. You could work in the following facilities:

  • Daycare centers
  • Elementary schools and secondary schools
  • Youth welfare
  • Mobile youth work

People with disabilities

Would you like to help children or adults with disabilities cope with everyday life? Are you willing to engage with the special needs of these people and are you comfortable working with them? Are you not afraid of light nursing duties? Then a challenging and varied job awaits you! You can work in the following facilities:

  • School support for children
  • Residential homes or assisted living
  • Workshops for people with physical, mental, or psychological disabilities
  • Day centers for people with mental illness

 

Seniors

Are you interested in people's life stories and experiences? Would you like to accompany elderly people on their journey? Are you comfortable interacting with others, and is caregiving something you are familiar with? Learn about the field of geriatric care and meet many interesting people! In addition to caregiving, you may also be asked to perform household chores or other tasks around the house. You can work in the following facilities:

  • Senior center
  • Day care centers for people with dementia

Project: Assistance for the elderly

Are you from Wiesbaden or the surrounding area and interested in working with elderly people? Are you able to adapt to people in need of care, their everyday lives, and their life stories? Then you've come to the right place!

In our project, you can help others and discover whole new sides to yourself. And we will accompany and support you: from the initial interview to your new training program.
